Build descriptions and titles

I am confused by the plethora of build descriptions and titles. You can:

Option 1

* Click on the build
* Choose "add description" from the right
* Enter a description in a large text box
* This description appears in the list of builds. It also changes the title bar at the top of the page.

The release plugin automatically populates this field, which is very useful. The maven release plugin does not, which is very annoying.


Option 2

* Click on a build
* Choose "Edit Build Information" from the left
* You get both a title and a description
* This title does NOT appear in the list of builds. It changes the title bar at the top of the page. If you enter both Option 1 and option 2, then Option 2 wins in the title bar.
* The description goes nowhere in the UI that I can find
* No plugin that I've used populates this


Is this how all this is supposed to work? It seems, how shall I put it? Random.
