Building an EAR with Hudson?

bland999
Hello,

It's not clear to me how to solve this problem I'm facing with Hudson (an excellent tool quite frankly): I have a project that is a Java EAR, composed of a WAR, an EJB JAR, and a utility JAR. Each of these four have their own Mercurial repositories.

I've set up a Hudson job for the EAR project, but how do I set it up to build the subcomponents whenever their code changes? The EAR repository is simply a container really, and so will rarely change. But I have written a build.xml file that does build all four projects: the three underlying components and the EAR. I just don't know how to make the code checkout occur for all four projects from one Hudson job...

I hope my question is clear.

Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like you want issue  1143 which is still open.  Voting for it will help.
