Committers notification on failed build.

Bruno Bonacci
Hi guys,

I would like activate a notification directed to the person (or people) that broke the build after a commit.

let's assume that the committer "joe" makes a change that breaks the build.
I would like that the email notification is sent only to him (joe@mycompany.com) and to QA@mycompany.com

is there any plugin for that? Note: committers they do not have an account on Hudson.
bye
Bruno

Sami Tikka
Did you try the "send separate emails to committers" in the job
configuration page?

Re: Committers notification on failed build.

Bruno Bonacci

The problem is that the:

1) committers they don't have an account on Hudson
2) the svn username are different from the email address

I RESOLVED in this way:
1) in the Main configuration i've added Default user e-mail suffix '@mycompany.com'
2) create an email alias an the mail system to match the svn user with the domain user.
3) and of course, use the option "send separate emails to committers" as you suggested.

bye
