Confluence installed / feedback appreciated

Kohsuke Kawaguchi
Administrator
I installed Confluence at http://hudson.gotdns.com/wiki/ in an attempt
to encourage documentation contribution from a larger audience.

I'm not completely sure how this would fit into the existing docs ---
shall we try to move them to Wiki? Or could they somehow work in a
complimentary fashion? Any suggestions appreciated.

Kohsuke, doesn't collabNet propose a wiki service for java.net porjects ?
I thought they did but I could be wrong.
it's worth doublt checking since the benefits would be many.

It's possible that they added new features since last time I looked,
but it used to be fairly simple implementation that they run.

I find Confluence much more pleasant to work with.

I like the idea of the documentation being wiki-based so users without
CVS access are free to contribute.

I added a Trac Plugin page to the Confluence install:
  http://hudson.gotdns.com/wiki/display/HUDSON/Trac+Plugin

It could use some screenshots and other polishing, but at least it's a
start.

Should I add a link to it from plugins.html[1] or would you rather
wait awhile before creating links to the wiki?

Yep. Thanks.

I think we'd rather move the entire plugins.html to Wiki.
