Display artifacts while job is running?

David Woon
Hi,

We were wondering if there is a way to display the artifact while the job is still running.
When we start a job, it generates details of CRs and info of that build in XMLs and store it in the directory where it will eventually archive.
However, we want to see how we can have that display while the job is still in process.

Is there a way or that is by design impossible?

thanks,

I don't think you can do it with the way the artifact archival is setup now.  One workaround that comes to mind would be to install the sidebar link plugin, and create links that go through the job's workspace to the xml files you wish to present (although then your users need workspace permission to use it, etc.)
