How can I disable pruning empty directories?

It looks like Hudson prune empty directories when it checkout source files from the CVS repository.

Currently you can't. I have to say I'm surprised that you don't prune
empty directories --- how do you deal with deleted directories?

The usual technique I believe was to put some innocent dummy file in a
directory to prevent pruning.

I suppose we could have some hidden system property that lets you turn
this off, if you really really badly need this support.
