Hudson Slave - Windows slave service stops immediately

Nicolas
Hi all,

Here is my configuration :
o Hudson Master (ver 1.367): Windows XP - server Hudson. It works properly
o Hudson Slave : Windows XP

My purpose is to have master launch slave agent on Windows (http://wiki.hudson-ci.org/display/HUDSON/Distributed+builds#Distributedbuilds-HavemasterlaunchslaveagentonWindows).
So, I create a node on master. To set up Slave agents, I choose method  : "Let Hudson control windows slave as a windows service. ".

At this point, service is well installed from master to slave (I can see hudson-slave service in services.msc on the slave). The problem is that this service stop immediately and then connection between master and slave is lost.
Even if I start manually hudson-slave service (in services.msc console), I have error report (service stop immediately...).

Any idea ? (is it clear ?)

Thanks by advance,
Nicolas

Maybe you should try turning off the firewall on the slave to check if
that is preventing the slave from running.

Other hints from the Hudson wiki:
