Invalid byte 2 of 2-byte UTF-8 sequence

Ben Mills
Greetings,

Running Hudson v1.99 on Linux (CentOS 4.4).
After a successful build of the project, since I enabled 'Publish Javadoc' and 'Publish JUnit test result report', I receive the following exception.

BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 21 seconds
Publishing Javadoc
Recording test results
FATAL: failed

at hudson.tasks.junit.TestResult.parse(TestResult.java:81)
... 9 more

The BulkMailingsPage.class is present in the directory.  Is this an encoding issue?  Any idea how to fix?

Many thanks,
Ben

The problem is that the wildcard you specified for test report archiving
is picking up non-XML files as well. You probably said something like:

   build/**/*

but I suspect it needs to be something along the line of:

   build/test-reports/*.xml

I improved the error diagnostics in 1.105.

Kohsuke,

I see now - thank you.  I've been looking for some documentation as far as the use of the 'Publish  Javadoc' and 'Publish JUnit test result report' configs.  Anything you can point me to?

The '?' icon on the right is the documentation. We certainly should be
expanding them.

Re: Invalid byte 2 of 2-byte UTF-8 sequence

Ben Mills
First let me say Hudson has been great and very easy to work with.
There are however no ? links for these two options in v1.99.
Thanks.
