Javadoc seems to be failing when there is a space in the project name. Below is
the relevant section of the console log:

[WARNING] -top option is not supported on Java version < 1.6. Ignore this option.

This has increased in urgency for us, as it is preventing us from running the
release:prepare release:perform goals via hudson for M2 projects.

The error that shows up during the release:perform goal follows:

this option.

Can someone give some hints where this needs to be solved?

I really like this solved, and I am willing to try myself, but no clue where to
start looking.
