OK. I'll remove the -q switch. You are probably right that this option isn't
worth it, given that it makes trouble-shooting harder.

Hudson really just invokes svn as it displays in the console. Usually the source
of the difference is:

  1. hudson might be running under a different UID, with different home
     directory, which may contain a different set of ".svn" files.
  2. a developer's interactive shell may contain additional environment
     variables, which may affect the subversion behavior. It might be
     even invoking a different svn executable if you have different PATH.

I see that fabriziogiudici is running tests as the tomcat user, so (1) is
eliminated. (2) might be a posisbility, in theory, but it seems somewhat less
likely.

fabriziogiudici, do you set the absolute svn path in the system configuration?
Or are you letting Hudson locate svn via PATH?
