According to the documentation
(http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_proxy.html#proxypass), ProxyPass takes
two parameters, but your message cites only one.

You really need to help me by providing accurate information about how you set
up your mod_proxy.

I also need to know how it fails. I may not know mod_proxy but I do know how
HTTP works and so on, so I'm trying to first understand how it's failing.

but I'm not sure what you really mean. Is it this?

 1. you access http://hudson.centricware.org:80/ where Apache runs
 2. eventually you get redirected to http://hudson.centricware.org:80/hudson/,
which is 404
