The information given on the API page (e.g. http://localhost/hudson/api/) states
that the "mode" for copying a job should be "copyJob".

"copyJob" doesn't work but "copy" does.  The example text should be updated.

The is a duplicate of a fixed issue.  What version of Hudson are you using?

i can't find "copyJob" anywhere on hudson/api/ page.. this seems exactly what
#3764 fixed in 1.309.

It does look like #3764 did fix the issue.  I'm not sure how to tell if a
changeset made it into a certain version but I'm pretty sure we're using a fresh
1.309 install.

ah, I had done "svn info https://svn.dev.java.net/svn/hudson/tags/hudson-1_309"
and saw the revision was 18609 which is after r18600, the fix for #3764... but I
forgot the release process now makes a release branch a bit before the release,
so the fix is actually in 1.310.
