technically it should be possible...
updates of existing plugins is another matter.

My experiences with NB would indicate that adding a new plugin should be fairly
straightforward (so long as no one is caching the results of looking up
@Extension's), but that updating or removing an installed plugin could be
unreliable. Hudson might carry less plugin-related state than an IDE so it might
work better. Generally where you get killed is with usages of the observer pattern.
