I second that. Coming from SVN, I really miss the ability to clone repositories into distinct local subdirectories.

My use case is for building a project that requires scripts that live in a separate repository.

I second that too. Scripts for building, specific to Hudson builds, are shared across several projects and live in their own shared repository.

I was both caught up by the semantics used which is too close to pre-existent semantics for SVN plugin, and then by the fact that I cannot yet migrate from SVN to GIT without having to refactor my whole build process.

Wondering now if the migration if worse the effort of refactoring things to work around this (hopefully) temporary lack of feature, or not :-/
