evernat commented on JENKINS-3951:
----------------------------------

First, it may be a known issue in Tomcat 6.0.21 to 6.0.26, see JENKINS-6473.

Then did you try using context.xml antiJARLocking/antiResourceLocking?

> Hudson 1.313, Windows 2008 Server, Apache TomCat 6.0
> Hudson does not Undeply correct.
> To deploy a newer version, I first undeply the older version.
> The following files never get removed:
> commons-jelly-1.1-hudson-20090227.jar
> groovy-all-1.6.0.jar
> hudson-core-1.312.jar
> stapler-1.106.jar
> stapler-jelly-1.106.jar
> winp.dll
> I always have to stop the "Apache Tomcat" to remove the files. If the files are
> not removed, the deployment of the newer version fails.
