                 URL: http://issues.hudson-ci.org/browse/HUDSON-5553
             Project: Hudson
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: current
         Environment: debian linux
            Reporter: lz1asl
            Priority: Critical

Hello
I am using native debian package and currently with 1.345 version.
I have few free style and maven projects and many plugins. Everything was fine till 1.342. Then I had problems with http://issues.hudson-ci.org/browse/HUDSON-5433 and http://issues.hudson-ci.org/browse/HUDSON-5383.
Week later I have connection reset in the browser - The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The startup log is quite big, but there are no errors.

INFO: Listed all plugins
..
INFO: Loading configuration...
...
INFO: Prepared all plugins
...
INFO: Started all plugins
...
INFO: Loaded all jobs
...
INFO: Completed initialization
...

I moved the whole hudson directory to another mashine and it seem to work there.
I cannot explain why it's failing to serve requests.

kohsuke closed HUDSON-5553.
---------------------------

    Resolution: Incomplete

Next time it happens, please run hudson from your shell like "hudson -jar hudson.war" so that you see the server stack trace as you send a request from a browser.

lz1asl commented on HUDSON-5553:
--------------------------------

My Bad, it happen to be bug in the debian JVM, someting to do with ipv6; hudson was only listening to localhost.
