[JIRA] Created: (HUDSON-5758) allow environment variable in artifact filesets

Hudson issues mailing list
allow environment variable in artifact filesets
-----------------------------------------------

                 Key: HUDSON-5758
                 URL: http://issues.hudson-ci.org/browse/HUDSON-5758
             Project: Hudson
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: core
    Affects Versions: current
         Environment: Xindows XP
            Reporter: aeschbacher
            Priority: Minor

It would be handy to allow usage of nvironment variables when defining artifacts fileset, e.g.:

  [x] Archive the artifacts
      File to archive:       gen/${ARCH}/${CONFIG}/*.zip

In this example, ARCH and CONF would be environment variables, defined either directly in the project, or in the main hudson configuration ('configure system')

mdonohue updated HUDSON-5758:
-----------------------------

Summary: resolve variables in artifact filesets  (was: allow environment variable in artifact filesets)
    Environment:     (was: Xindows XP)
    Description:
It would be handy to allow usage of environment variables when defining the artifact fileset:

  [x] Archive the artifacts
      File to archive:       gen/${ARCH}/${CONFIG}/*.zip

In this example, ARCH and CONF would be environment variables, defined either directly in the project, or in the main hudson configuration ('configure system')
