Jenkins 1.396 released

Kohsuke Kawaguchi
Administrator

The first release of Jenkins is posted [1], along with the documentation
that describes the upgrade [2]. Thank you very much for everyone who
made the release possible, and I hope you can upgrade to this release soon.

If I change the update link, will the new Jenkins 1.396 release show up
in the "Manage Hudson" screen? Or should I use the drop-in update first?

Yes, it will. It'll work either way.
