Last Successful Artifacts link with ability to zip files disappears

iceman81
Hi,

I am seeing a behavior with our hudson behavior that I have not seen before and I am unable to trace what change I made to trigger the behavior.

I have jobs that are configured to archive the artifacts. What I used to get was I would get a "Last Successful Artifacts" link which on clicking would give the ability to download a zipped copy of all files via an "(all files in zip)" link. For some strange reason, for some of my jobs, instead of a link I get a tree node view without any zip option. The following is the java script that seems to be providing this behavior ((javascript:YAHOO.widget.TreeView.getNode('artifact-tree',1).toggle()) ) - I just copied the link location info.

I am completely surprised by this and its weird that this is not the case with all my jobs. I noticed this running ver 1.331 and now I upgraded to ver 1.333 and still see the same behavior. If the list allows, I will add images to show what I am talking about.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

ThanksWeirdExpected

It changes to the tree view when the number of artifacts crosses a threshold.  The zip url will still work if you hit it directly.

Do you mean to say if the number of archived build artifacts (including previous artifacts) cross a threshold, it changes to the drop down tree view?

The number of artifacts in each build has not changed but the number of archived builds for the job has increased.

I am not sure what you mean by hit it directly. The only way I am able to get a zip url is if I navigate into the workspace.

What is the rationale behind the threshold?

Is there a way to configure this tree view behavior? I would like make a link available to others for the latest artifacts so that users can download them easily. Thanks.
