Linux slave source acquisition

slide
I have a need to setup a Linux slave. The interesting thing about this
is that it does not have any access to the source control. I was
thinking of setting something up after my scm polling job that would
scp the files from the master to the slave, but was wondering if
anyone else had any ideas.

Thanks,

My $0.02: Set up a job which is tied to a slave that has access to
source control. It polls the repository and triggers a build when it
finds a commit. The build then makes a zip of the sources and archives
it has the build artifact. A post-build action then triggers another
job which runs on your Linux slave.

This job on the Linux slave uses the Copy artifact plugin to get the
zip of the sources from the job above, unpacks the zip and makes the
build.
