Missing: org.kohsuke.stapler:stapler:jar:1.78

Jon Christiansen
Greetings-

I am (trying to) building hudson from source for the first time, following the directions provided at:

http://hudson.gotdns.com/wiki/display/HUDSON/Building+Hudson

I successfully checked out the sources, but when trying to build, I continue to get a dependency failure for stapler-1.78.

It says to try downloading it manually from the website, and installing it myself, but as of this moment, 1.77 appears to be the latest version available at https://stapler.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectDocumentList

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks,
JC

This is one of two things:

1. Kohsuke just rolled a new release and the maven repositories have
not caught up yet...

2. Kohsuke just rolled a new release and forgot to push the latest
version of stapler to the maven repositiories...

If you try again in an hour or two, that should fix #1

If it's #2, when Kohsuke wakes up (in another 8 or so hours) he'll
push the new build of stapler and you'll be back on track.

The correct answer in this case is, I moved my Hudson to another
machine and that has messed up the java.net Maven repository
publication.

The java.net Maven repositories are published and mirrored by Hudson,
and so even when the deployment went successful, if this mirroring
phase doesn't kick in, we won't see it.

Once I get to work, I'll be able to fix the problem.

Should be fixed now.
