Need help with accessing Praqma Support user

Ewelina Wilkosz

As a representative of Praqma Eficode I need to get an access to Praqma Support account ([hidden email]) so I can handle issues on https://issues.jenkins-ci.org

Currently I can't access [hidden email] and I will update it with new email - if possible - once I get the access

Can anyone here help?

BR

Re: Need help with accessing Praqma Support user

Oleg Nenashev
I confirm that a few years ago Ewelina was designated by Praqma to be a liaison in the Jenkins community.
The Praqma Support account has not been used since 2014 from what I can tell: https://issues.jenkins.io/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=praqma

+1 from me for granting access.
I can also change the email associated with this account. Ewelina, please send me a PM with a Praqma/Eficode email address you'd like to use.

Best regards,
Oleg

Ewelina Wilkosz
Thanks!

I’ll check with my IT department how fast they can create one for me and get back to you.

+1 from me for granting access.

I was surprised when I sent an email to [hidden email] yesterday and received a response that opened a ticket in their bug tracker.  No other response to my request except the email automation that confirmed the ticket had been opened.  I was surprised that the bug tracker is still responding but the account is not accessible to Ewelina.

Ewelina Wilkosz
I was informed later today that you did :) thanks
But that mail account is being used for different support cases and I want to make it more convenient for the future - so it’s easier for everyone
I had order new mail account for Jenkins only and I hope to get it soon

So emails to that account are still accessible? Why the need for outside help?

Why not request a password reset, log in once, then change the email address?

Re: Need help with accessing Praqma Support user

Ewelina Wilkosz
I couldn't reach anyone with the access before I asked for help here
obviously I tried...

I decided to take the matter into my own hands and was offered help straight away - the opposite to the person with access, who's not very responsive

FTR I have sent a new temporary password to Ewelina.
It should be enough for now

Re: Need help with accessing Praqma Support user

Ewelina Wilkosz
yes, thanks a lot - I'll now consult with old Praqma people and our newer colleagues from Eficode to figure out how to best handle our plugins from now on
but I got the help I needed for now!
