For that I have started with Hello World plugin from hudson.
But I am not able to make *hpi file from source files.
Can anyone give me some nice and easy steps to write a simple plugin like

Hi Ami,

The Hello Worl Example should be the easiest example around. If you have
problems and/or errors, can you provide them so the examples can become
better and we can help you getting the example to work?

The steps to write a plugin is covered in [1]. If this didn't work,
please let me know what didn't work, and what error you got.

What kind of plugin are you going to write? It's always good to use an
existing plugin as a template, then you see how the different jelly
scripts and actions interact.

E.g., if you need to scan the workspace files and report some results
and a trend graph, then have a look in the tasks plugin, it is only
slightly more complex then the hello-world.

Sure thing. I don't know what plugin you are working on, but if you are
interested in sharing it with Hudson community, let me know.
