Project rebuild based on dependency changes

tkarakai
If we develop multiple, dependent software products. Can I set up projects to be automatically rebuilt  if any of their dependencies has changed? That is: I don't want to deal with fingerprints, I would like to be sure that all project use the latest builds of other project they depend on.

Thanks.

Yes,
In the configuration, under "Build Triggers", check the box stating "Build after other projects are built."  Then add the Hudson project name that your project depends on to the "Project names" box.
For example, in Hudson, set up a project "A", and a project "B".  Project B depends on artifacts from Project A.  In the configuration page in Project B, add "A" to the "Project names" box.

Is this what you were looking for?
