Ruby TestUnit report support

Steven Morrison
Hey,

Following on from a recent thread about support for cppunit test
result files, I recently created a Hudson job to run tests for a Ruby
project. I found a tool (ci_reporter:
http://caldersphere.rubyforge.org/ci_reporter/) which converts Ruby
tests results into JUnit-style XML files. I started using this so that
Hudson could render the results for me.

It all works very well, except that Hudson can't render some files
because the filename format is "Module::InnerModule::Class.xml", and
the colons are not escaped or converted to a URL-friendly form.

Could the escaping be added to the list of feature requests, or would
this be better suited as a separate plugin to the JUnit support?

Cheers,
Steven Morrison

Sounds like it's really just a bug. Can you file it in the issue tracker?
