Search new JDK version with a jenkins job

da shy
Hi,

I'm new to jenkins and I want to know if its possible to create a jenkins job, that search for check if there is a new JDK version on a specific website.
And when there is a new JDK version, download the file.

Is it possible without any plugins?

I'm using Jenkins ver. 2.73.3

Thanks a lot

Re: Search new JDK version with a jenkins job

Victor Martinez
Hey,

Jenkins itself does use a generated json file which contains the whole list of JDK versions:

and it's generated with the below crawler script:

Likely you can extend it

Cheers
