Should "Recent Changes" for a project use the disgest?

Steele, Richard
It looks like the Recent Changes link, which iterates over the set of builds and prints out their changes summaries, uses its own implementation of a "digest" like format implemented in changes.jelly.

Is there a way for it to use the SCM's digest.jelly instead?  I've slightly altered the format in digest.jelly--extracting out changes without comments, for example--and the disparity between the two views (three, if you include the summary at the top on the detailed view in index.jelly) is disconcerting.

I'd try to cruft up a patch for it but I have no experience with jelly and what is or isn't possible.

Thanks,
Rich

Right. Good point. In fact I think the whole page should be rendered by SCM.
Can you file an issue for this?

And I'm sorry for asking this too many times, but there's no chance
you can share the clearcase plugin with the Hudson community?

Issue 511.

You've only asked once.  :-)

I wish I could share it, but the client I'm doing this for has not granted their permission.   I would even be uncomfortable sharing pseudo-code.  This client has been very kind to me and my company, and I have to respect their wishes.

However, I'm more than willing to share my knowledge of ClearCase and creating a plugin for Hudson with anyone who asks, though my knowledge of ClearCase is limited to "base" ClearCase using snapshot views, not ClearCase UCM.

I'd like to contribute in some other way; I owe you that much.  Maybe a PMD plugin?  I'll also continue to share my questions and observations while working on this plugin.

Fixed in 1.105. SCM can now have project-changes.jelly.
