Static code analysis for C++?

DavidA
Hi

It seems to me that CheckStyle does not support analysis of C/C++ code.

Is there a Hudson plug-in that does support static code analysis of C/C++ code?
Best regards
David

yes, you can use the CCCC plugin, though that creates metrics, and does
not analyize source code formatting..

I think the violations plugin supports one of the C/C++ lint checkers

Hi Stephen

Thanks for your reply but I can't see any mention of a C/C++ lint checker on the Violations plugin wiki page,

David

Its Warnings plugin, not Violations

You can also use cppchecker - there is no specific plugin, so you will
have to use Text Finder plugin to check console output.

There is also a cppcheck plugin in the trunk since 2-weeks. It's not yet released.
You can test it if you want.

I would like to try the cppcheck plugin.

Is any documentation available yet?

How does one install a plugin that isn't released?

David
