Trac annotation

Erik Ramfelt
When we're using the trac plugin we get nice links into trac for the
bug reports, but we get also links for normal words that isnt a wiki
word.

For instance the check in comment:
qrameri (detail) Added file element "CaseHandlingView.xsx". Fixed bug #2.
will generate a link for "Added", "CaseHandlingView", "Fixed" and "#2".

I would expect the "CaseHandlingView" and "#2" to be linked, but the
other words are not wiki words and in my eyes they should be linked.

Is there anyone that have seen the same thing, or is this a feature?

It's a known bug but should be fixed in CVS now.

I changed the regex to match on:

  ([A-Z][a-z]+){2,}

instead of:

  ([A-Z][a-z]+)+

I will try to push out new release of the plugin later tonight.

I released version 1.5:
https://hudson.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=6770&expandFolder=6770&folderID=5818

Let me know if that doesn't fix the Trac wiki links for you.

The new version works much better, thanks for the quick turn around!

Hi Brad,

I am using trac ver 1.5 and it still seems to make links to words that are not correct see below for an example:

Fixes for slow trading  report performance.  TradeBean DataSource access replaced by DAO. (detail)

The bold words above created links to trac/wiki/TradeBean and trac/wiki/DataSource respectively.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
B

Your e-mail is a plain text, so we can't tell bold words from plain words.

That said, isn't "TradeBean" and "DataSource" indeed a word in the Wiki
notation?

Or are you expecting that Hudson talks to Trac and distinguish existing
pages from non-existing pages?
