continue on failure?

Lidia Marchioni
Hi

I have a job configured to run on a group of 2 systems (label).  One of
the systems is windows and execution there fails.  It just so happens
that hudson executes on windows first and as it fails (with
java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "/bin/sh" error mentioned in my
earlier post - any replies?) the job aborts (exits).  Is there a way to
configure the job, so that it continues on to the next node even if the
first one fails?

Thanks
Lidia

Re: continue on failure?

I have never seen this behavior. We use multiconfiguration jobs and
Hudson creates multiple copies of the same job (one for each
configuration) and executes them independently of each other and even
at the same time.

But I have never tried what happens if Hudson cannot even start the
build actions. Maybe you could make a copy of the job and remove
Windows from the original configuration. Then you could continue
debugging the Windows problems in the copied job without disturbing
the  original.
