hudson plugins git repository?

gliptak
I still see significant slowness and failures when trying to update the hudson plugins using the java.net SVN repository.

I understand that there is already a git repository available at:

http://github.com/kohsuke/hudson

excluding plugins (possibly two way synchronized with the java.net SVN?), which I have no issue updating from.

Are there plans to also offer a hudson git repository containing plugins?

Thanks

There are no plans, but that's just because there's no one interested in
working on it.

Note that the Hudson's core repository is a one-way sync, with the other
direction done manually. For that reason, I don't think it scales to do
this for all the plugins.

Kohsuke,

Considering that git possible scales better than SVN for the diversified developer group which Hudson already gained, maybe the "official" repository could be moved to git?

Thanks

At this time, I'd rather have java.net folks look into the SVN
slowness that you are seeing than doing the all out transitions.
Sorry.
