launch app with win cmd

Mishael Kim
Hi,

This is probably a quick one for you guys...

When I just launch notepad or any other app within a job's Windows Batch Command, why does it not move to the next command after the launch?  The launch command only moves on if I manually shutdown that process.  Is there a workaround to this?

I thought that was a case where you needed to use the "CALL" statement in the batch file so that it will not wait for process exit.

CALL didn't work for me, but START actually did.  Thanks for the help though!
