I think that no special permissions are required, your plugin is already mirrored in github. I.e., you can do all steps on your own. Ulli

Re: moving violations to git

Peter Reilly-2
I see that, but I cannot push changes back to github
ERROR: Permission to jenkinsci/violations-plugin.git denied to peterkittreilly.
so I think that some magic may be involved :-).

In reply to this post by Peter Reilly-2
I have moved the code over and made a release, but
it does not seem to be picked up yet.
For example:
http://ci.jenkins-ci.org/view/Plugins/job/plugins_violations/
still shows the subversion version
(now whacked)

Re: moving violations to git

Mirko Friedenhagen-3
Hm, who is allowed to do this? The maintainer in the wiki-page? I am
the maintainer for jobConfigHistory and jswidgets and neither
http://ci.jenkins-ci.org/job/plugins_jswidgets/ nor
http://ci.jenkins-ci.org/job/plugins_jobConfigHistory/ allow me to
change the configuration.

Regards
Mirko

Job updated.

Just a few core devs have access to ci.j, so asking here or in #jenkins is
the right thing to do.
