netbeans project dependencies handling.

pepe-10
Hello.
I am currently trying to configure hudson to compile one of my projects.
This project ( https://swash.dev.java.net ) is a netbeans project,
dependent on an other netbeans project. (
https://preciseinternaldate.dev.java.net ).
I have set swash project to depend on preciseInternalDate project within
netbeans and both compile correctly.

Problem was when i setup within hudson. While preciseInternalDate caused
no problems, swash would not compile.

/root/.hudson/jobs/swash/workspace/trunk/nbproject/build-impl.xml:288:
The following error occurred while executing this line:
java.io.FileNotFoundException:
/root/.hudson/jobs/swash/workspace/PreciseInternalDate/build.xml (No
such file or directory)

Did i go the wrong way with netbeans project dependency?

Thank you.

Jesse would know more, but it sounds like your dependency set up is
dependent on your local file system layout.

Right, try building locally with all nbproject/private/ dirs deleted,
and if necessary make sure project.properties contains appropriate
relative paths.

General rule: before trying to set up the Hudson project, try checking
out clean copies of your projects from Subversion and building with the
same command you would give Hudson.

Hello.

I did what you suggested and ended in same situation.
It seems -indeed- that it is dependent on local file system. I setup
swash project to build preciseinternaldate project, through the
project/properties/librairies/add_project, which references other
projects and generates them when parent is needed.

It looks like i will have to make a 'static import' of the
preciseinternaldate jar into the swash project, and add the jar to swash
repository.
I tried it and it worked. But it worries me that i cannot use netbeans
project dependencies if i want to be able to run proejcts in hudson.

Thank you for your help.
