settings.xml for Maven build

Tom Huybrechts
Hi all,

I'm trying to convert a freestyle maven project into a real maven
project. However this fails for me since the new Maven build in Hudson
is not using the settings.xml from my ordinary Maven install anymore.
Can I tell it to read that, or can I put it elsewhere ? The
settings.xml in ~/.m2 is not an option for me.

Hi Tom,

Did you ever find a solution for this ? I'm guessing it's related to this post [1] here.

I don't remember whether Kohsuke ended up hacking in support for passing parameters to the embedder, otherwise you could just do -s /my/settings.xml. IIRC Hudson is using the maven 2.0 embedder which lacks built-in support for this.

Regards
Jorg

I think you should file this as an issue. I believe Embedder does let us
specify where settings.xml is.
