slave availability

Tom Huybrechts
I'd like to have a slave availabilty mode where the slave is started
before every build and taken offline again after the build.
This would be useful combined with reverting to snapshot on shutdown in vmware.

Can a plugin implement this with the current availability extension point ?

Start and stop slave on demand is already one of the availabilities... already there... you just need the job to be tied to your slave

If I understand it correctly it won't shutdown the slave if there is
another build waiting ?
I would like my vmware image to be reset at the start (or end) of every build.

Ahh, I see. That's a good catch. I'll see about extending the extension points to allow for that type of availability
