snapshot update frequency in hudson

Benson Margulies
To avoid inter-executor collisions, all my hudson jobs have private
workspaces. This means that if an upstream project is built, the
downstream dependencies will only pick up new versions if the
repository updatePolicy causes them to check.

Is there any hudson-specific way to deal with this?

I've been thinking that it should be possible to add a custom
ArtifactResolver or ArtifactRepository (or something like that) so
that it'll always see a consistent snapshot build of the upstream,
even when the upstream is also building/deploying concurrently.

It needs a bit more Maven hacking, though.
