svn polling mystery?

Prabhat Jha-3
Hi,

In one of my build, SVN polling log shows:

Started on Nov 2, 2007 1:00:25 AM
Workspace is offline.
Scheduling a new build to get a workspace.
Done. Took 0 seconds
Changes found

and this triggers a build.

But when I click on that build, it says:
      Revision:
      8743
      No changes.

What does "workspace is offline" mean??

Regards,
Prabhat

This is when the slave that built the job last time is offline and
therefore Hudson didn't have the access to the last workspace of the
project.

SubversionSCM retains the revision number in the master, so it should
still be able to do polling correctly. Please file an issue for this.

Or if you'd be interested in making this change, that would be great,
too. I think we are looking at adding a method like
supportsPollingWithoutWorkspace(), then if so, Hudson core can still
call pollChanges with null workspace when it's not available.
